Job Description
The CCTV Controller monitors surveillance systems across assigned areas, promptly responding to alarms and documenting any incidents. The role includes maintaining equipment functionality, coordinating with security personnel, and ensuring strict confidentiality of footage. Candidates should have 2–4 years of experience in CCTV or control‑room operations and a solid understanding of surveillance technology. Strong attention to detail and effective communication are essential.

- • 2–4 years of relevant experience in a similar CCTV, control room or security monitoring role.
- • Strong understanding of CCTV systems and related surveillance technology.
- • Excellent observational skills.

Responsibilities
- • Operate and continuously monitor CCTV systems across designated areas to identify suspicious activities, security breaches and safety hazards.
- • Maintain high levels of alertness and attention to detail while monitoring live and recorded footage.
- • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents and unusual activities observed through the CCTV system.
- • Record and document security incidents, suspicious activities and other observations accurately and promptly.
- • Prepare clear and detailed incident reports for management and relevant security teams.
- • Maintain proper records of incidents, actions taken, escalations and other relevant CCTV activities.
- • Coordinate with security personnel, management and relevant authorities when security incidents occur.
- • Provide timely information and instructions to security teams to support an effective response.
- • Assist in investigations by reviewing CCTV footage and providing relevant evidence or detailed descriptions.
- • Conduct regular checks to ensure CCTV cameras, monitors, recording systems and related equipment are functioning properly.
- • Report technical faults, blind spots or system failures promptly to the relevant department or service provider.
- • Assist with the implementation and operation of new CCTV systems, technologies and security equipment.
- • Ensure all CCTV monitoring activities comply with company security procedures, privacy requirements and applicable regulations.
- • Maintain strict confidentiality of CCTV footage, security information and incident records.
- • Ensure CCTV footage and other security information are accessed, handled and shared only with authorized personnel.
- • Maintain clear and effective communication with security personnel and other relevant departments.
- • Support the training and orientation of new CCTV and security staff on monitoring procedures and systems.
- • Work independently and as part of the security team to maintain a safe and secure environment.
