Job Description
CCTV Controllers monitor surveillance systems to detect security incidents and ensure rapid response. They maintain detailed logs, coordinate with on‑site security personnel, and keep equipment operating optimally. The position demands high integrity, attention to detail, and effective communication.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or Certificate in Security Management, Criminology, IT, or a related field
- • Minimum 1–2 years experience in a CCTV control room or similar role
- • Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and security software
- • Strong attention to detail and high level of integrity
- • Good communication and report‑writing skills
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to detect and respond to security breaches or suspicious activities
- • Report incidents promptly and accurately to relevant authorities and supervisors
- • Maintain logs and records of all surveillance activities and incidents
- • Coordinate with security personnel on the ground during emergencies
- • Ensure all surveillance equipment is functioning properly and report faults immediately
- • Follow company protocols and standard operating procedures at all times
