Job Description
The Central Transport Operations Lead will oversee transport planning, execution and continuous improvement across multiple sites, ensuring safe, cost‑effective and on‑time delivery of goods. The role requires strong analytical skills, leadership and the ability to drive performance improvements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) or Diploma
- • Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics or transport operations
- • Proven leadership and problem‑solving abilities
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Oversee daily transport operations across the assigned network
- • Monitor fleet utilization and optimize routing, load planning and vehicle allocation
- • Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of customer orders using TMS tools
- • Resolve operational issues and service disruptions promptly
- • Track fleet performance, fuel consumption and driver productivity
- • Lead safety initiatives and promote a positive safety culture
- • Ensure compliance with transport regulations and service‑level agreements
