Job Description
The Chef will operate in a high‑volume bakery environment at Powerstar Supermarket, producing a wide range of baked goods while adhering to strict food safety and hygiene standards. Responsibilities include preparing artisanal breads, cakes, pastries, and ensuring consistent quality and efficiency. Candidates need a diploma in culinary arts and at least two years of professional kitchen experience. Strong technical baking skills and knowledge of sanitation regulations are required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, Food Production, Bakery & Pastry, or related discipline.
- • Minimum two years of professional experience in a high‑volume bakery, commercial kitchen, or food production setting.
- • Proficiency in advanced baking techniques and pastry preparation.
- • Strong understanding and application of industry‑standard hygiene and food‑handling regulations.
- • Ability to consistently produce high‑quality baked goods efficiently.
