Job Description
The Chief Education, P‑4 provides strategic leadership for UNICEF’s education programmes, overseeing planning, implementation, monitoring and advocacy to improve learning outcomes for marginalized children.
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Lead a team of professionals to develop and manage education programmes across the country
- • Design strategic plans, budgets and results‑based management frameworks for education interventions
- • Monitor programme performance, ensure quality control and provide technical advisory
- • Advocate for inclusive, equitable education and build partnerships with government, NGOs and other stakeholders
- • Represent UNICEF in high‑level forums, networking events and policy dialogues
- • Provide guidance on integrating cross‑sectoral issues such as health, nutrition and protection into education programmes
