Job Description
The Chief Executive Officer will provide strategic and operational leadership for Practical Action Kenya, guiding the organization toward its 2025‑2030 vision. Responsibilities include shaping long-term strategy, overseeing financial and partnership performance, and representing the organization to external stakeholders. The CEO must demonstrate strong governance, financial acumen, and the ability to inspire teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Business, Development Studies, or similar)
- • Demonstrated senior leadership experience in international development or non‑profit sector
- • Proven track record in strategic planning, financial oversight, and partnership building
- • Strong political, commercial, and financial judgment with ability to manage risk
- • Excellent communication, influencing, and ambassadorial skills across diverse audiences
