Job Description
The Chief Finance Officer provides strategic financial leadership for the African Economic Research Consortium, overseeing budgeting, reporting, and resource allocation to support the organization’s research agenda across Africa.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- • Over 10 years senior financial management experience, preferably in research or non‑profit sector
- • Expertise in donor‑funded budgeting and compliance
- • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
- • Proven ability to drive financial sustainability
