Job Description
The Chief Financial Officer provides strategic financial leadership, partnering with the executive team to drive growth, manage risk, and ensure robust financial governance across the organization.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND and MBA/MSc/MA or equivalent professional certification
- • 10–15 years progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership
- • Deep expertise in financial modeling, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Advise the CEO and Board on financial strategy, growth initiatives, and risk management
- • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes
- • Develop and monitor key financial and operational KPIs
- • Conduct scenario planning and stress testing, particularly for FX volatility
- • Ensure compliance with Kenyan regulatory frameworks and international best practices
- • Oversee capital structure optimization, cash‑flow management, and treasury functions
- • Manage stakeholder relationships with investors, regulators, and auditors
