Job Description
The Chief Financial Officer will provide strategic financial leadership for Tropikal Brands Africa, overseeing planning, reporting, treasury, risk management and compliance across multiple business units. Partnering with the Managing Director, the CFO will develop budgets, forecasts and investment analyses that drive profitable growth. The role also supervises financial reporting for the sister company Tropikal Spaces and ensures robust internal controls. Extensive finance experience and advanced qualifications are required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (BA/BSc/HND) and a Master’s degree (MBA/MSc/MA) or professional certification
- • Minimum ten years of progressive finance experience, including at least five years in a senior leadership role
- • Proven track record in financial planning, reporting, treasury and risk management
- • Strong analytical and strategic decision‑making abilities
- • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- • Lead the development of financial strategies, budgets and long‑term forecasts in partnership with senior management
- • Oversee financial reporting, management accounts, reconciliations and regulatory compliance for all group entities
- • Manage treasury functions, cash flow forecasting and capital‑raising activities
- • Conduct risk assessments, implement internal controls and ensure adherence to financial policies
- • Provide financial analysis for investment decisions, expansion projects and cost‑optimization initiatives
