Job Description
The Chief Operating Officer leads all operational functions of Mater Misericordiae Hospital, ensuring high standards of patient care, safety and financial performance. Reporting to the CEO, the COO shapes strategic plans, oversees facilities, biomedical engineering and support services, and partners with clinical and finance leaders to drive quality and compliance. The role also spearheads digital health initiatives, process improvement and KPI monitoring to sustain continuous excellence. Qualifications & Requirements
- • MBA, MSc or MA in a relevant field, plus professional certification
- • Minimum 10 years progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations
- • Proven track record in strategic planning, budgeting and operational excellence
- • Strong knowledge of accreditation, quality assurance and patient safety standards
- • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and change‑leadership skills
