Job Description
The Chief Program Officer will lead the design, implementation and evaluation of community health programs across Kenya, driving strategic partnerships and ensuring impact at scale. The role oversees program teams, manages budgets, and reports outcomes to donors and senior leadership. A strong focus on innovation and results‑based management is essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Master’s degree in Public Health, International Development, Business Administration or related field
- • At least 7 years experience in program management within the health or humanitarian sector
- • Demonstrated leadership of large‑scale, multi‑partner initiatives
- • Strong analytical, budgeting and reporting skills
- • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities

- • Lead multidisciplinary program teams to deliver health interventions at community level
- • Manage program budgets, monitor expenditures and ensure financial compliance
- • Oversee monitoring, evaluation and learning processes to assess impact
- • Cultivate relationships with donors, government agencies and partner organisations
