Job Description

The role involves adapting the WHO Caregiver Skills Training package for Kenyan families, reviewing materials, contributing expertise, engaging stakeholders and supporting the development of Master Trainers to deliver high‑quality training and quality assurance.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) in a relevant field such as Child Development, Disability Studies, Psychology or Social Work
  • • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in child development, disability support or family services

Required Skills

Responsibilities

  • • Review and critique CST training materials for cultural relevance and accuracy
  • • Contribute subject‑matter expertise in child development, disability or mental health
  • • Participate in stakeholder consultations and incorporate feedback into adaptations
  • • Help test and refine the adapted package during the pre‑pilot phase
  • • Support the selection and training of Master Trainers who will deliver CST and ensure quality assurance
  • • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to translate evidence‑based interventions into practice
