Job Description
The Clinical Nutritionist at Fertility Point provides specialized nutritional counseling to patients undergoing fertility treatments. They develop individualized diet plans for conditions such as PCOS, insulin resistance, and thyroid disorders, and collaborate closely with the fertility team. The role also includes leading education sessions and ensuring compliance with professional licensing requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Nutrition, Nutrition and Dietetics (Master’s degree is a plus)
- • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Clinical Nutritionist in a healthcare setting
- • Registration with the Kenya Nutritionists and Dieticians Institute (KNDI) and a valid practising licence
- • Completed supervised internship as required by KNDI for degree holders
- • Up‑to‑date continuing professional development (CPD) points
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Assess and counsel patients before and during fertility treatments such as IVF, ICSI, and IUI
- • Design personalized nutrition plans for PCOS, insulin resistance, weight management, thyroid conditions, and male factor infertility
- • Advise on pre‑conception and early pregnancy nutrition guidelines
- • Collaborate with fertility specialists, embryologists, and nursing staff to integrate nutritional care
- • Lead patient education sessions and wellness talks on reproductive health nutrition
