Job Description
The Cloud Lead Architect provides strategic leadership for cloud and hybrid environments across the organization. Responsibilities include defining cloud architecture standards, governing solution design, and ensuring security and risk controls are embedded in all initiatives. The architect works closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable, resilient and cost‑effective services. The role also drives cloud financial management and continuous improvement of cloud operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- • Professional cloud certification (e.g., Azure, AWS) preferred
- • At least 5 years experience in enterprise architecture with 3 years focused on cloud technologies
- • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and cloud security principles

- • Define and maintain enterprise cloud architecture principles, roadmaps and technology standards
- • Provide architectural oversight for cloud and infrastructure projects to ensure alignment with standards and sustainability goals
- • Establish and enforce cloud security and governance frameworks
- • Manage cloud cost optimisation and financial governance
- • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement secure, scalable cloud solutions
- • Guide adoption of best‑practice cloud technologies and automation
