Job Description
The Collection & Recovery Officer will manage a portfolio of delinquent loan accounts, contacting borrowers to negotiate repayment plans and recover outstanding balances. The role involves field visits, phone calls and follow‑up actions to ensure timely repayments while maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field
- • Experience in debt collection, loan recovery or credit management
- • Strong negotiation and communication skills

- • Manage a portfolio of delinquent loan accounts and drive timely recovery
- • Conduct calls, follow‑ups and field visits to negotiate repayment plans with defaulting clients
- • Record all interactions and agreements in the loan management system
- • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure recovery actions meet regulatory standards
- • Provide regular reports on recovery performance and outstanding balances
