Job Description
The Communication Officer will develop and execute communication strategies to raise Farm Africa’s profile in Kenya. Responsibilities include stakeholder mapping, creating marketing materials, and managing media relations. The role requires a BA/BSc or HND and at least three years of experience in communications, with strong skills in photography, promotional writing, and strategic messaging. The position is remote and supports the organization’s development goals.

Responsibilities
- • Conduct comprehensive stakeholder mapping to identify target audiences, messages, and communication formats
- • Develop and implement a communications and marketing action plan and media strategy highlighting Farm Africa’s impact
- • Build and maintain an external contacts database for media and partners
- • Prepare and produce marketing materials in collaboration with project coordinators and management
- • Support the global communications team and serve as primary contact for external relations in Kenya
