Job Description
The Communications and Outreach Officer will develop and implement an integrated communications strategy that amplifies the organization’s impact and engages stakeholders. Responsibilities include crafting impact stories, producing press releases, newsletters, reports and managing the website and social media platforms. The role requires strong storytelling, digital content creation and brand management skills.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
- • Minimum 2–3 years experience in communications, content creation or outreach.
- • Strong storytelling and writing abilities.
- • Experience managing websites and digital platforms.
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Develop and execute an integrated communications strategy aligned with the organization’s mission and program goals.
- • Identify, document and craft powerful impact stories from program implementation.
- • Write and edit high‑quality content for press releases, newsletters, annual reports, op‑eds, donor updates and blog posts.
- • Manage the organization’s website, ensuring content is fresh, SEO‑optimized and engaging.
- • Oversee digital and brand management, including social media platforms.
