Job Description
The Company Nurse will provide primary clinical care to employees and their dependents, manage occupational health programs and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Duties include diagnosing and treating illnesses, delivering first aid, maintaining health records and coordinating referrals. The role also involves health education, wellness promotion and managing medical supplies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma in Nursing or related health discipline
- • Relevant nursing registration and certification (e.g., Mental Health Awareness)
- • Minimum 3 years experience delivering occupational health services in a busy organization
- • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Diagnose and treat employees and their dependents, providing first‑aid and emergency response as needed
- • Conduct health surveillance, occupational illness prevention and workplace safety training
- • Maintain accurate employee health records, manage medication inventory and prepare health reports
- • Deliver maternal and child health, family planning and antenatal services within the workplace
- • Coordinate referrals to specialist providers and follow‑up care for complex cases
