Job Description
The Construction Interior Designer will lead interior design projects from concept through completion, delivering functional and aesthetically appealing spaces for commercial and residential clients. Responsibilities include creating design concepts, producing detailed drawings, selecting finishes, and coordinating with contractors to ensure compliance with regulations and budgets. The role requires advanced proficiency in 3D design software and strong project management skills. Candidates must have at least six years of relevant experience and a relevant degree.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) or professional interior design certificate
- • Minimum 6 years experience in interior design and construction project execution
- • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3Ds Max, Lumion or similar software
- • Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, furniture and construction methods
- • Understanding of building regulations and safety standards
- • Excellent project coordination, communication and presentation abilities
- • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

- • Develop creative interior design concepts that meet client requirements
- • Prepare mood boards, material palettes, space‑planning layouts and presentation packages
- • Produce detailed drawings, specifications and schedules using AutoCAD, Revit or similar software
- • Recommend finishes, furniture, fixtures and lighting appropriate for each project
- • Ensure designs comply with building codes, safety standards and company policies
- • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and clients to manage project timelines and budgets
- • Conduct site inspections to verify design implementation and quality
