Job Description
The consultant will design and facilitate capacity‑building sessions for the Africa Team retreat, guiding the development of the 2027 work plan and strategic priorities while ensuring clear documentation of outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) or equivalent
- • Strong computer literacy and fluency in written and spoken English
- • Ability to work sensitively across diverse country contexts and foster psychological safety
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Hold preparatory meetings, review background materials and develop the retreat agenda and facilitation plan
- • Facilitate work‑planning sessions to define workstreams, activities, deliverables, dependencies, timelines and accountabilities for 2027
- • Support country focal teams in presenting contexts and reaching portfolio and priority decisions
- • Design and lead team‑building and communication activities
- • Capture decisions, document outputs, photograph sessions and prepare a post‑retreat report
- • Deliver a comprehensive facilitation plan and the Africa Team’s 2027 work plan with clear workstreams and timelines
- • Produce a country portfolio and strategic priorities document outlining regional focus areas for 2027
