Job Description
The Regional Supply Chain Coordinator for the IFRC oversees the end‑to‑end visibility and movement of emergency health supplies across the Democratic Republic of the Congo and neighboring countries. The role coordinates procurement, transport, customs, storage and last‑mile delivery, while monitoring bottlenecks and providing analytical reports to stakeholders. Strong analytical and stakeholder‑management skills are essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND or professional certificate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field
- • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in humanitarian supply chain management
- • Strong analytical ability and experience developing forecasts and risk logs
- • Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and negotiate time‑critical solutions
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP or logistics tracking systems

Responsibilities
- • Establish and maintain a pipeline tracker for all EVD supplies across the region
- • Coordinate procurement, supplier delivery, transport, customs clearance and storage activities
- • Identify bottlenecks and implement mitigation actions to ensure timely delivery
- • Produce weekly analysis, forecasts and status reports for operational decision‑makers
- • Support the set‑up and operationalisation of the logistics hub in Uganda, including import, storage and re‑export processes
- • Ensure compliance with humanitarian supply‑chain standards and documentation requirements
