Job Description
The Country Level MEL Manager will design and lead the monitoring, evaluation and learning strategy for Mercy Corps in Kenya. The role includes coordinating a nationwide M&E system, training staff, and driving a new data‑automation platform. Candidates need extensive experience in program development, M&E and humanitarian contexts.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) or higher
- • Minimum seven years of experience in program development and MEL, with at least two years in a supervisory role
- • Proven experience in humanitarian or development settings, preferably with MSF or similar NGOs
- • Strong knowledge of security and context analysis in volatile environments
- • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and training skills
- • Proficiency with Excel, CommCare, PowerBI and other data tools
- • Fluency in English
- Kiswahili and Somali are assets
