Job Description
The Country Level MEL Manager will lead monitoring, evaluation and learning activities across programs in Kenya. This includes designing data collection tools, overseeing field data quality, and producing analytical reports for stakeholders. The role also supports capacity building for partners and ensures findings inform strategic decisions. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Social Sciences, Statistics or related field
- • Minimum 5 years experience in monitoring, evaluation and learning within development projects
- • Proven ability to design M&E systems and conduct data analysis
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills
- • Proficiency in statistical software such as SPSS, Stata or Excel and data visualization tools
- • Experience working with donor reporting requirements

- • Design and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks for country programs
- • Develop data collection tools, surveys and indicators aligned with project objectives
- • Supervise field data collection, ensure data quality and compliance
- • Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to generate actionable insights
- • Prepare and present regular performance reports to donors and senior management
- • Provide training and mentorship to staff and partners on MEL processes
- • Contribute to learning activities, knowledge sharing and best‑practice documentation
