Job Description
The Country Manager – Business Development leads the Group’s growth initiatives in Kenya across industrial, energy, infrastructure and related sectors. The role builds market intelligence, cultivates senior stakeholder relationships, and creates a qualified pipeline of opportunities. It also designs and executes the annual business development strategy, assesses new projects and provides timely market insights. Extensive senior‑level experience and a bachelor’s or postgraduate diploma are required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) or postgraduate diploma in business, economics, engineering, finance or related discipline
- • 12–15 years of relevant experience, including senior responsibility in business development
- • Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives

- • Serve as the senior business development representative for the Group in Kenya
- • Build market intelligence and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across industrial, energy and infrastructure sectors
- • Develop and implement an annual business development strategy aligned with Group priorities
- • Identify, assess and shape new business opportunities, maintaining a quantified pipeline
- • Prepare opportunity briefs and coordinate commercial, technical, financial, legal and risk assessments
- • Recommend progression, pause or termination of opportunities in line with approval processes
- • Monitor political, economic, competitive and regulatory developments and provide early warnings
