Job Description
The Country Manager will drive GOAL 3’s commercial expansion in Kenya, establishing partnerships with hospitals, government bodies and distributors to scale the IMPALA patient‑monitoring platform. They will lead implementation projects, oversee customer adoption, and build a high‑performing local team while aligning operations with the organization’s strategy. The role requires navigating Kenya’s healthcare procurement and regulatory landscape and representing GOAL 3 at strategic forums. Strong leadership, stakeholder management and a deep network in the health sector are essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in public health, healthcare management, business, medicine, nursing, biomedical engineering, or a related discipline
- • Minimum 5 years experience in healthcare, medical technology, digital health, health systems, or a related sector in Kenya
- • Strong professional network across hospitals, government, NGOs, or the private healthcare sector
- • Proven experience managing partnerships, customers, programs, or commercial activities
- • Excellent commercial, relationship‑building, and stakeholder management skills
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Swahili desirable
- • Legal authorization to work in Kenya and willingness to travel regularly throughout the country

Responsibilities
- • Lead GOAL 3’s commercial growth and country operations in Kenya, translating strategy into clear priorities and execution
- • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, county governments, the Ministry of Health, distributors, implementing partners, and other key health‑sector stakeholders
- • Identify and advance new commercial, partnership, and funding opportunities, including sustainable adoption pathways for IMPALA
- • Oversee customer relationships and support long‑term IMPALA adoption, ensuring effective integration into routine service delivery
- • Coordinate high‑quality implementation across Kenya, managing clinical, technical, service, distributor, and hospital teams for successful installations, training, and support
- • Navigate Kenya’s healthcare procurement, regulatory, financing, and institutional decision‑making environment to move opportunities from interest to scale
- • Establish and strengthen GOAL 3’s local operations, systems, and processes as the presence grows
- • Build and lead a multidisciplinary Kenya team while ensuring close coordination with GOAL 3’s international functions
- • Monitor country performance, implementation progress, customer needs, and emerging opportunities to continuously refine strategy
- • Represent GOAL 3 in strategic meetings, technical working groups, conferences, and other relevant forums across Kenya
