Job Description
The Credit Risk Manager will oversee the bank’s credit risk framework, ensuring that lending activities align with regulatory standards and the institution’s risk appetite. They will develop and implement credit policies, monitor portfolio performance, and lead risk assessments for new and existing borrowers. The role requires close collaboration with underwriting, finance, and senior management to mitigate potential losses. Strong analytical and leadership abilities are essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
- • Minimum 5 years of experience in credit risk management within banking or financial services
- • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem‑solving skills
- • In‑depth knowledge of credit risk assessment tools and regulatory frameworks
- • Proven leadership and team‑management experience
- • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities
