Job Description
The Data Protection Officer supports the bank’s Data Protection Office by establishing, implementing, and continuously improving the privacy framework. They ensure compliance with data protection regulations, monitor data handling practices, and provide guidance and training to staff. The role involves risk assessment and ongoing enhancement of privacy controls across the organization.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Information Technology, or a related field
- • Knowledge of data protection regulations such as GDPR and Kenya Data Protection Act
- • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams
