Job Description
The Delivery Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transport of raw materials, finished products and equipment between designated locations. Duties include routine vehicle checks, compliance with traffic regulations, and ensuring cargo is properly secured. The driver must maintain accurate records and uphold company safety standards at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Minimum KCSE mean grade D+
- • At least 5 years of proven experience as a truck driver
- • Valid Class C1 driving licence and clean driving record
- • Certificate of Good Conduct and good communication skills

- • Report to work as scheduled and obtain prior approval for any absence
- • Safeguard the assigned truck and prevent unauthorized use
- • Operate the truck and trailer safely, adhering to all traffic laws
- • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of vehicle and trailer
- • Present the vehicle for inspection before each trip
- • Observe site‑specific speed limits and fuel‑efficiency standards
- • Ensure cargo is secured to prevent damage or loss
- • Keep the truck and trailer clean and well‑maintained
