Job Description
The Digital Sub‑editor Intern will support the editorial team by researching, writing and editing digital content for the Standard Group’s online platforms. The role involves ensuring accuracy, adhering to style guidelines and optimizing stories for social media and multimedia formats.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication or a related field
- • Strong writing, editing and storytelling abilities
- • Excellent research skills and attention to detail
- • Proficiency with digital and social‑media platforms
- • Ability to work under tight deadlines
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Research topics and gather information for news stories
- • Write and edit articles for digital publication
- • Proofread copy to ensure accuracy, grammar and style compliance
- • Assist in managing social‑media content and digital distribution
- • Support multimedia production such as video or graphic elements
- • Ensure timely publication of content according to editorial calendars
