Job Description
The Director of ICT provides strategic leadership for all technology functions across Amref Health Africa, ensuring that digital solutions enable health impact, operational efficiency and data‑driven decision‑making. The role oversees architecture, cloud and data platforms, cybersecurity, and service management while driving innovation and digital maturity throughout the organisation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- • MBA, MSc or professional ICT certification preferred
- • 12–15 years of progressive ICT leadership experience
- • Proven track record in AI, machine learning and digital transformation
- • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, cybersecurity and modern IT architectures
- • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills

- • Define and execute the ICT strategy aligned with organisational goals
- • Lead governance, risk and compliance for all technology assets
- • Oversee enterprise and network architecture, cloud and data platforms
- • Ensure robust cybersecurity and ICT service management practices

- • Manage ICT budgets, vendor relationships and performance metrics
- • Mentor and develop ICT teams to build organisational capacity
