Job Description
The Director of Partnerships will lead the development of strategic alliances and mobilize resources to support impact‑focused financing across Sub‑Saharan Africa. Reporting to the CEO and serving on the Executive Committee, the incumbent will oversee partnership initiatives, gender integration, and the execution of the 2021‑2025 strategy. The role requires strong relationship‑building with development partners, governments and private sector donors, as well as analytical and leadership capabilities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • MBA, MSc or MA in Business, Development Studies or related field
- • 12–14 years of senior‑level experience in partnership development and fundraising
- • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with development partners, governments and private sector
- • Strong analytical, planning and negotiation skills
- • Excellent written and verbal communication, high integrity and sound judgment
- • Working knowledge of French is an advantage

Responsibilities
- • Lead the identification, cultivation and management of partnerships with development agencies, governments and private sector donors
- • Drive resource mobilization to secure financing for agribusiness and renewable energy projects
- • Oversee implementation of the organization’s 2021‑2025 strategic plan and gender integration function
- • Represent the organization on the Executive Committee and provide strategic input on impact investing
- • Analyze market trends and data to inform partnership opportunities and business decisions
