Job Description
The Project Director will provide strategic and operational leadership for a two‑year US‑government‑funded initiative aimed at protecting vulnerable children and expanding EdTech solutions in Kenya. Responsibilities include managing partnerships, supervising staff, overseeing budget and compliance, and acting as the primary liaison with government, private‑sector, civil‑society partners, and the donor. Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, international development, public policy or related field (Master’s preferred)
- • Minimum 10 years of experience leading donor‑funded international development or child protection programs
- • At least 5 years in senior leadership managing complex projects
- • Demonstrated experience with US government‑funded projects and compliance
- • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, ethical data practices, and survivor‑centered approaches
