Job Description
The Deployment Project Leader oversees the end‑to‑end deployment of country portfolios, ensuring projects follow the core methodology and meet local constraints. Responsibilities include governance, planning, coordination of stakeholders, risk management, reporting, and continuous improvement across deployments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) or equivalent
- • Minimum five years experience in IT deployment or transformation projects
- • Proven ability to work in complex, matrix‑organized environments
- • Strong risk management, planning, and reporting capabilities
- • Structured, rigorous, and methodical approach to project execution
- • Ability to engage and align diverse stakeholders
- • Proficiency with Microsoft O365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
- Power BI a plus
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Take operational ownership of deployment for assigned country portfolio from kickoff to handover
- • Define, maintain, and monitor country deployment plans
- • Ensure deployments align with core model, methodology, and roadmap while adapting to local constraints
- • Animate and coordinate central, regional, and local stakeholders involved in deployments
- • Set up and run deployment governance structures such as committees and decision forums
- • Guarantee the quality and validation of all deployment deliverables
- • Identify deployment risks, dependencies, and issues and implement mitigation plans
- • Deliver structured project reporting to central deployment stream and country management
- • Contribute to lessons learned and drive continuous improvement of deployment processes
