Job Description
The Driver / Ambulance Driver provides emergency transport services for Pearl Hospital, delivering patients safely and promptly while maintaining vehicle readiness and complying with all safety protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Valid Class BCE Driving Licence and PSV licence
- • Minimum 5 years professional driving experience, including ambulance operations
- • Clean driving record and good conduct certificate
- • Basic knowledge of vehicle inspection and maintenance
- • First Aid/BLS certification and defensive‑driving training preferred
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Respond to emergency calls and transport patients to designated facilities
- • Ensure safe and timely delivery while following traffic and hospital guidelines
- • Perform routine vehicle inspections, maintenance and documentation
- • Keep accurate logs of trips, patient details and equipment used
- • Maintain a clean driving record and possess a valid Certificate of Good Conduct
- • Provide basic first‑aid assistance when required
