Job Description
The Driver III is responsible for safely transporting authorized passengers and maintaining the Authority’s vehicles. Duties include daily vehicle inspections, reporting defects, keeping accurate records, and ensuring timely servicing and compliance with regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • KCSE (or equivalent secondary education)
- • Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience
- • Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Responsibilities
- • Operate Authority vehicles safely and in accordance with traffic laws
- • Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness before and after trips
- • Detect, report, and follow up on mechanical defects, accidents, and maintenance needs
- • Maintain accurate vehicle logs and records
- • Safeguard vehicles, passengers, cargo, fuel cards, and accessories
- • Coordinate servicing, repairs, insurance inspections, and statutory compliance
- • Keep vehicles clean and presentable at all times
- • Use fuel and vehicle parts prudently and report any incidents promptly
