Job Description
The Driver for the RMNCH Project provides safe and reliable transportation for project staff, supplies, and equipment across Nairobi and field sites. Responsibilities include route planning, vehicle maintenance, and logistical support while adhering to CHAK policies. The role requires a clean driving record and strong organizational skills.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • KCSE (Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education) or equivalent
- • Minimum 5 years experience in professional driving
- • Valid Kenyan driver’s licence and clean driving record
- • Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and documentation
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Provide safe driving services for project personnel and authorized staff
- • Plan and manage travel routes efficiently for long‑distance assignments
- • Conduct safety briefings and ensure compliance with traffic laws and CHAK policies
- • Transport project supplies, health commodities and training materials securely
- • Maintain assigned vehicle(s) in excellent condition, including cleanliness, fueling and servicing
