Job Description
The Driver/Mechanic ensures safe transportation of large passenger groups while maintaining vehicle reliability through routine inspections and repairs. This role combines skilled driving with hands‑on mechanical troubleshooting to minimise downtime. The incumbent also upholds safety standards and accurate record‑keeping for all journeys.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Valid Kenyan Class D3 driving licence for passenger vehicles
- • Certificate in motor‑vehicle mechanics or equivalent
- • Minimum five years of professional driving experience with large passenger vehicles
- • Strong knowledge of vehicle safety standards and basic repair techniques

Responsibilities
- • Safely operate vehicles with a capacity of 33 + passengers on assigned routes
- • Perform routine mechanical inspections and preventive maintenance
- • Diagnose and repair vehicle faults to minimise downtime
- • Ensure compliance with road‑safety regulations and maintain accurate logs
