Job Description
The Driving School Manager will lead the establishment and operation of a new NTSA‑approved driving school, handling licensing, curriculum development, and fleet management. Responsibilities include recruiting and supervising instructors, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving student enrollment through effective marketing and customer service. The role demands strong leadership, problem‑solving, and bilingual communication skills.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Valid, clean NTSA Driving Instructor License with at least 4 years of active instruction experience
- • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Education, or a related field
- • Proven track record of setting up a driving school or managing a busy branch with at least 50+ monthly students
- • Deep knowledge of NTSA eCitizen portal, student booking workflows, and vehicle inspection requirements
- • Valid Certificate of Good Conduct issued within the last 12 months
- • Excellent command of English and Kiswahili with strong leadership and problem‑solving abilities

- • Design the school's theoretical curriculum and map out practical training routes
- • Establish vehicle scheduling systems and oversee conversion of fleet vehicles to dual‑control systems
- • Manage routine mechanical maintenance tracking and maintain classroom standards
- • Recruit, train, and supervise NTSA‑licensed driving instructors and support staff
- • Implement customer service frameworks and marketing strategies to increase student enrollment and achieve revenue targets
