Job Description
The ECDE Teacher will deliver early childhood education to young learners, creating a safe and stimulating environment that supports holistic development. Responsibilities include planning lessons, assessing progress, and collaborating with parents and colleagues. Candidates must be TSC‑registered and proficient in digital literacy.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE)
- • Minimum 1 year of teaching experience with young learners
- • Valid TSC registration
- • Strong communication, creativity and teamwork skills
- • Competence in digital literacy
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Plan and deliver age‑appropriate ECDE lessons following the curriculum
- • Assess student learning and provide feedback to support development
- • Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
- • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress
- • Incorporate digital tools and resources into teaching activities
- • Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop and share best practices
