Job Description
The Electrical Design Engineer will create and coordinate electrical design deliverables for industrial and manufacturing facilities, using Aveva E3D and AutoCAD to produce 3‑D models and 2‑D drawings. The role ensures compliance with NFPA 70 standards and supports interdisciplinary coordination through model reviews and clash detection.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) in Electrical Engineering or related field
- • Advanced proficiency with Aveva E3D for electrical design and model coordination
- • High proficiency with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office
- • Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 / National Electrical Code standards
- • Minimum ten years of experience in industrial electrical design

Responsibilities
- • Develop, check, and coordinate electrical design deliverables for industrial projects
- • Use Aveva E3D to produce 3‑D models, extract drawings, and generate elevation cuts
- • Prepare detailed 2‑D electrical drawings in AutoCAD based on project standards
- • Design layouts for equipment, raceways, lighting, grounding, and control rooms
- • Perform model reviews with Navisworks to identify interferences and support coordination
- • Apply NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) requirements to all design work
- • Support drawing checks, field walkdowns, and as‑built updates
