Job Description
The Electrical Engineer Intern will support Standard Group’s printing department by assisting with electrical system design, testing, and maintenance tasks. The internship provides hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced media environment, allowing the intern to develop practical engineering skills. Candidates must be enrolled in or have completed a degree in Electrical Engineering and demonstrate a proactive, fast‑learning attitude. The role is remote and classified as an internship.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electrical Engineering (BA/BSc/HND)
- • Proactive attitude with strong problem‑solving abilities
- • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a dynamic work environment
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Assist senior engineers with the design and installation of electrical systems in the printing department
- • Perform routine testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of equipment
- • Support the preparation of technical documentation and reports
- • Participate in safety inspections and ensure compliance with occupational standards
- • Contribute ideas for improving energy efficiency and equipment reliability
