Job Description
The Electrical Intern will support Kenya Pipeline Company's engineering team by assisting with design, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems related to pipeline operations. The role offers practical exposure to electrical engineering practices within a contract environment and emphasizes safety and documentation standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- • Basic understanding of electrical circuits, control systems, and instrumentation
- • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- • Willingness to work on a contract basis and adhere to safety standards

- • Assist senior engineers with electrical system design and drafting
- • Perform routine testing, inspection, and maintenance of pipeline electrical equipment
- • Prepare technical reports and documentation for engineering activities
- • Support data collection and analysis for project performance
