Job Description
The Engineer – Information Security designs, implements and maintains security controls for a real‑time payment platform, ensuring the protection of network and application assets across on‑premise and cloud environments. The role integrates security into the software development lifecycle and guarantees compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related discipline
- • Professional security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001) preferred
- • Minimum 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably within payments or FinTech
- • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, cloud security, and DevSecOps practices
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Develop secure architecture for new systems and services following Zero Trust principles
- • Design and enforce cloud security controls for AWS, Azure or GCP environments
- • Conduct end‑to‑end network and application security assessments
- • Integrate security testing into the DevSecOps pipeline
- • Optimize and manage security tools for on‑premise and cloud deployments
- • Ensure compliance with CBK Cybersecurity Guidelines, PCI DSS and other regulations
- • Produce and maintain security documentation and standards
