Job Description
The engineering internship provides hands‑on experience supporting ADB’s infrastructure projects, allowing students to apply technical knowledge while contributing to development initiatives across Africa.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Bachelor’s program in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline
- • Strong academic record and interest in development‑focused engineering projects
- • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar
- • Good analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Assist senior engineers with design and analysis of infrastructure projects
- • Prepare technical drawings, calculations, and documentation using CAD tools
- • Conduct site visits and collect data for project monitoring
- • Support preparation of project reports and progress updates
- • Perform research on engineering best practices and sustainability standards
- • Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and brainstorming sessions
