Job Description
The Engineering Trainee will support the mechanical engineering department of Kempinski Hotels by learning core maintenance tasks, ensuring technicians follow scheduled hours and assisting with FF&E documentation. The role provides hands‑on experience in hotel engineering operations under the guidance of senior trainers.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a diploma or degree program in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- • Strong interest in hospitality engineering and willingness to learn on the job
- • Basic understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance practices
- • Good communication and teamwork skills
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Learn and assist with routine mechanical maintenance and repairs in hotel facilities
- • Monitor and ensure mechanical technicians adhere to assigned working hours
- • Prepare and submit Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) reports as required
- • Support the departmental trainer and training manager in organizing practical sessions
- • Observe safety procedures and contribute to a clean working environment
