Job Description
The English & Literature Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons for Year 7‑11 students, fostering proficiency in reading, writing, speaking and listening while cultivating a love for literature. Responsibilities include designing curriculum‑aligned activities, assessing student progress and supporting extracurricular literary clubs. The role requires at least five years of teaching experience within an international curriculum and registration with the Teachers Service Commission.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, English, Literature or a related field
- • Registration with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), Kenya
- • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience within an international curriculum
- • Strong knowledge of English and Literature curricula, assessment and instructional practices
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
