Job Description
The ESG Officer supports Mitchell Cotts Freight Kenya in building and maintaining an integrated environmental, social and governance management system aligned with ISO 14001 standards. By translating ESG requirements into actionable policies, registers and reporting routines, the officer enables the organization to demonstrate measurable sustainability progress to customers and regulators. The role also coordinates ESG implementation programmes, establishes governance structures, and develops capability across business units to ensure audit‑ready compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc/HND) in a relevant field
- • Minimum 3 years experience in ESG, environmental management or a related discipline

- • Support implementation and continuous improvement of the ESG management system
- • Translate ESG requirements into policies, registers, controls, data collection and reporting routines
- • Work across functions to achieve ESG‑readiness and audit‑readiness
- • Build an integrated ESG framework covering environmental, social and governance aspects
- • Coordinate ESG implementation programmes and ISO 14001 readiness activities
- • Establish ESG governance, data management, compliance documentation and performance reporting
- • Develop ESG capability across business units and support functions
