Job Description
The ESG Officer will support Mitchell Cotts Freight Kenya in implementing and continuously improving its environmental, social, and governance management system, ensuring compliance and reporting across the organization.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or related field
- • Knowledge of ESG frameworks and reporting standards
- • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
- • Ability to work cross‑functionally and influence change
- • Experience in the logistics or freight industry is a plus
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Support implementation and continuous improvement of the company’s ESG management system
- • Monitor and report on environmental performance, social initiatives, and governance compliance
- • Conduct ESG risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures
- • Coordinate sustainability projects and stakeholder engagement activities
- • Prepare ESG reports for internal leadership and external stakeholders
