Job Description
The Executive Chef will direct all culinary operations for a luxury lodge, creating innovative menus, managing kitchen costs and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and guest satisfaction. The role leads, trains and motivates the kitchen team while collaborating with management to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef in a luxury hospitality setting
- • Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
- • Strong leadership and team‑management abilities
- • Experience working in remote lodge environments is advantageous
- • Proven track record of menu development and cost optimisation

- • Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory and cost control
- • Develop innovative menus using locally sourced ingredients and seasonal produce
- • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
- • Lead, train and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high performance
- • Interact with guests to accommodate dietary preferences and enhance their dining experience
- • Oversee procurement and supplier relationships for quality ingredients
