Job Description

The Executive Coordinator supports the President’s Office by managing the calendar, correspondence, travel and stakeholder engagements. They orchestrate logistical planning for presidential priorities, board meetings and official visits while ensuring information flow and decision items are prioritized. The role requires senior‑level judgment and the ability to liaise with donors, governments and senior leaders across Africa. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and at least ten years of executive support experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) or higher such as MBA, MSc or MA
  • • Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience supporting C‑suite executives
  • • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools
  • • Experience managing executive workflow, document‑management or project‑tracking systems
  • • Demonstrated ability to anticipate executive needs and protect time for strategic priorities
  • • Experience working across Africa with development partners, governments, donors and international stakeholders

  • • Coordinate planning and logistical execution of presidential priorities, leadership forums, board engagements and official visits
  • • Prioritize and triage meeting requests, invitations and decision items, redirecting or escalating as appropriate
  • • Serve as the central point of coordination for matters requiring the President’s attention, ensuring complete and timely information flow
  • • Maintain effective executive‑office processes and protocols
  • • Build credibility and work effectively with senior leaders, board members, donors, government representatives and other high‑level stakeholders
